In one of the major projects in northwest Iran, the process of supplying and replacing hospital hygienic air handling units has begun. This project aims to improve air quality in medical environments, enhance ventilation system reliability, and reduce risks caused by equipment deterioration.
One of the primary concerns of the client was replacing the worn-out and damaged air handling units — equipment that, due to long operation periods, corrosion, microbial contamination, and reduced efficiency, could no longer meet strict hospital standards. Replacing hospital air handling units is typically a major challenge because it involves space limitations, the sensitivity of medical environments, the need for uninterrupted ventilation, and the complexity of integrating with existing systems.
In this project, the final solution was the use of Packman hygienic air handling units — specialized systems designed for medical environments, operating rooms, ICUs, NICUs, laboratories, and sterilization centers.
